F.A.Q.
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions from our real customers.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for my first service from TTM?
Please make sure to allow access to your property by keeping gates unlocked and pets inside your home on scheduled service days.
Do I need to be home for my service visits to be completed?
While we would love to see you and chat about your lawn if you are home, its not
necessary. If you can’t be home for your visit, we’ll email a service summary with details about the services we’ve performed. Your service summary is also available after every appointment within your customer portal.
When can families and pets return to serviced areas?
After a service, TTM advises customers to allow the application to dry before families and pets resume enjoying their lawns. Although highly dependent upon temperature and humidity, most liquid products we use dry within 1-2 hours at most.
How do I know when my service is scheduled?
Customers have the ability to opt in to service notifications so that we can successfully communicate our arrival through email. We provide pre-service and same-day notifications via email as well as completion emails and invoices.
Will TTM service continue automatically year after year?
Yes, service continues automatically year after year unless a customer advises us to
discontinue. Customers find that continuing the program from season to season and year to year is the best way to maintain the lawn's appearance. It also allows us to care for your lawn at the best time for the best results. We will send out renewal emails during the winter time with your annual pricing.
What are my payment options and how can I pay my bill?
There are two easy ways to pay for your TTM service. You can:
1. PrePay for a plan or service and receive a discount.
2. Sign up for Autopay when you create your account and have your payment
automatically withdrawn from a bank account or credit card after the completion
of your service. We do require a card on file if the account is not prepaid.
How does TTM treat for mosquitoes/fleas/ticks, and do you spray my lawn?
TTM uses an organic formula combined with a targeted application technique to
significantly reduce the number of biting adult mosquitoes, fleas and ticks in your
landscape for up to 21 days. Mosquitoes generally seek out shelter in shrubs, mulch, and woodpiles to avoid sun during the day. For the treatment to be effective, we target these areas to ensure we provide effective control. Since a well maintained and mowed lawn doesn't provide the same protection for mosquitoes, they rarely shelter there, and therefore we do not treat that area.

TTM (Total Turf Management) guarantees the services listed in this document to be applied accurately and in a professional manner.
TTM will control and protect your lawn from the most common weeds in the Northeast region with levels of protection built into the Gold program. Albeit there are certain groups of evasive weed species that are not indigenous to the area that may enter your property. Including but not limited to species such as: Japanese Stilt Grass, Bull Paspalum, Dallisgrass, Nimblewill, Zoysiagrass etc. These evasive weed species are treatable but may require additional services depending on the scope of outbreak which would be considered outside the gold program parameters.
TTM is able to take your lawn to the next level both aesthetically and biologically by implementing steps within the gold program. These applications will provide root density, vigor and growth, however nature will consistently provide stressful time periods that can create adverse effects. Fungus outbreaks are most common at the start of summer when humidity begins to rise. Turf disease can be prevented and cured but these outbreaks would be considered outside the scope of control that the Gold program provides. Add-on treatments for fungus can be applied upon consent of the homeowner.
TTM uses high end materials that provide the most advanced slow-release fertilizers, biological supplements, refined organic matter and effective active ingredients with the best modes of action. Our experience and expertise allow us to implement these products in a strategic way. As professionals we are able to deduce and formulate a plan on a troublesome area of your lawn that may not be responding as it should. This may require a soil test followed by a Soil Remediation Analysis. These specialty services tell us what’s going on beneath the turf and help us correct a variety of deficiencies such as severe pH adjustments, macro & micro nutrient neglect and gauging levels of alkaline and acidity in your soil. These instances and resources are considered outside the scope of the Gold program.
TTM requires a credit card to be on file for all accounts. Services will be rendered after completion. In the event that payment is declined you will be notified so your payment information can be updated. All services will be articulated, agreed upon and scheduled accurately.
TTM pledges to provide superb customer service. We will and can communicate over a variety of platforms to answer any questions you may have.
